The city of South Charleston has added to its force. The city showcased three brand new fire trucks Thursday evening at the City Council meeting.

The new trucks were just delivered and will go into service immediately.

They were purchased to help with the aging equipment used by the city’s firefighters.

South Charleston Mayor Frank Mullins said, “They give us dependable vehicles to work with. These are state of the art … They have modern technology available to our firefighters to use, visit uptownjungle.com . They have all the safety features. It’s an upgrade that we needed and again, it worked out for us very well financially … so it’s been a win-win for us all the way around. Good morale booster, too.” Check out commercial painting houston.

Last year, city council members approved a seven-year lease term for the purchase of the new trucks. Visit geauxmaids.com site.

Later this year, a new ladder truck will be added to the equipment lineup.
