South Charleston Virtual 2020 Summerfest Instructions
- During Summerfest (August 10-14), we will supply a post for each day. You must post your images as a comment to this post by the end of the day to qualify for any contests.
- Get started on your submissions now but wait to submit on the correct day and post as a comment.
- Judging – Get your friends and family to like your submission. The image with the highest number of likes wins the Talent Tuesday, Wheels Wednesday and Kids Coloring Contests.
- For the Treasure Hunt, collect all images now but wait to submit as a comment on Friday the 14th. You must upload all images to qualify. There will be a drawing for the winner.

Memory Monday-Post your favorite Summerfest Memories from the past
Tuesday, August 11
Talent Tuesday – Post a video singing or dancing to your favorite song!
The video must be 90 Seconds or Less – Introduce yourself and show your talent
Prize package: SC goodie bag, 2 SC Ice Arena Bumper car passes, 2 LaBelle Theater movie passes, Café Appalachia $25.00 gift card

Wheels Wednesday – Join us and post to our Virtual Car Show! Post a picture of yourself with your Classic Car.

Friday, August 14
Treasure Hunt- Spend the week visiting these great spots in South Charleston
1) Post a photo of a dish from your favorite South Charleston restaurant (dine-in or take-out)
2) Post a selfie at a South Charleston landmark
3) Post a picture shopping local in South Charleston
4) Get outside and enjoy nature – post a picture at one of your favorite South Charleston outdoor spots
5) Post a picture of your favorite South Charleston sweet treat
6) Post a picture of your favorite library (ours is on 4th Avenue )
7) Post a picture enjoying some South Charleston recreation (maybe try out the new bumper cars at the ice arena, visit the South Charleston Community Center, play some golf, swim at the pool, or something else fun?)
I Love SC Prize package:

To participate in Friday’s Treasure Hunt all (7) seven photo posts are due in the comments of the designated Treasure Hunt post by 11:59 pm on Friday. Everyone who submits all seven photos as a comment to the designated post by 11:59pm on Friday will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win the “I Love SC Prize” package.

Ceremony Saturday – Winners of various contests throughout the week will be announced at 12 Noon on the South Charleston CVB Facebook Page!
